Maria, you’ve gone from beauty pageants to the international stage. Tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Since childhood, I’ve been passionate about creativity – acting, performing, hosting events. Eventually, I found my way into beauty pageants, and they opened doors to the bigger world. I won titles such as Mrs. Russia, Mrs. Europe, and Mrs. Universe. Alongside that, I developed myself as a psychologist, artist, screenwriter, and runway coach, working with women in different countries. Now I live in the U.S. – a new chapter for me. I’m creating projects that combine female empowerment, beauty, art, and real support for women.
You balance so many directions – beauty contests, psychology, art, media, and family. How do you manage it all?
I truly love being multifaceted. Every path I take expresses the same essence: I support women. In my work, I help them see their strength, worth, and beauty. That’s been my mission for years – not just to help, but to spotlight female leadership and inner power. Sometimes it’s through a stage, sometimes through a deep conversation, or through art or the camera. It’s all different forms of the same message: you can be yourself, shine, and be loved. And no matter how busy I am – family is always my priority.

What are you working on right now?
I split my time between New York and Los Angeles. I’m preparing for a film shoot in Hollywood and working as a model. I also continue mentoring women from around the world for international beauty pageants and working as a psychologist. This season, I’m also serving as a judge in several global competitions.
One project especially dear to my heart is my book. I’m writing it with love and care for women, sharing insights from 14 years of experience as a psychologist. I’ve been through a lot myself – raised a child alone after divorce, learned how to fall and rise again. This book blends personal stories, practical advice, a bit of humor, and relationship insights. It’s meant to support women at different stages of life.
Another project I’m currently building is a charity art installation dedicated to women and nature.

Tell us more about your charity project for women.
This project was born in spring when I was living in New York, on Manhattan, and studying contemporary art. The idea came to me like a spark, and I began working on it immediately.
It’s called “Living Mirrors” – because when a woman looks at the installation, she can see herself in it. Women and nature are deeply connected – we give life and deserve protection.
The project explores strength and vulnerability, pain and healing, the silent bond between woman and Earth. A portion of each artwork’s proceeds will go to support women affected by domestic violence, and also to environmental protection initiatives. It’s about beauty – but it’s also about action.
Are you really going to star in a film? Tell us more.
Yes! I’ve recently arrived in Los Angeles, and I’m in talks for a film role in Hollywood.
I’ve acted in film before – in Moscow, back in 2017. That movie was released in theaters and featured well-known Russian actors.
Now it’s time for Hollywood. I’m excited for what’s ahead!
How would you describe who you are today?
Today – and always – I am a woman chasing her dreams. I’m a mother, a daughter, a beloved woman, a friend, and a professional. I don’t separate those roles – they’re all part of me.
I’m not afraid to risk, fail, learn, evolve, and shine in many ways. I live my life honestly and in my rhythm. I do my best to support others – not because I have to, but because it’s who I am.
I want to inspire and be inspired. I move toward my dreams with love – for my family, for those around me, and for women and nature.
What would you like to wish our readers?
I wish you to enjoy life fully. Don’t chase the meaning of life – just live it with joy, health, and happiness. Follow your goals, stay true to yourself, and never give up. Keep going no matter what.
